I am a great fan of Ellie Kay’s books. She is humorous in her approach and informative as well.  Everyone is looking to save money but never know where to begin; this book will give you some needed help to accomplish that task.  The tips within this little handbook are a must for everyone and this book fits perfectly in your purse. The resources are those to save money from groceries to your electric bill.

Ellie Kay uses practical methods that many of us overlook to save money.  She uses many examples and her own family stories to show how she has saved money and how we can apply them to our own lives.  Not only should we be saving money or looking for ways to stretch the dollar but there are tips within this book to make a difference in the world.  This book is very easy to read and understand and the author has also included a Tip a Day as another wonderful resource.

We all know that saving money will make us happier but do we know how to go about it?  It may be easier than you think and with some guidance you will see that you too, can live with less and be happier.  Watch your relationship change for the better and teach your children a valuable lesson.

Many of our youth think that money grows on trees and by instilling some money saving values they will realize that earning money is hard work and will have more appreciation for the value of a dollar.  Implement some of Ms. Kay’s tips in your life and watch your life change.

This is a small, pocket-sized book that you can throw in your purse and take with you. It is full of excellent tips on how to save money so you can pay down your debt, get more “bang” for your buck, and use that extra money not only to improve your quality of life, but the quality of life for others.

One thing I like about Ellie Kay is that to her it’s not all about saving money so you can have more stuff. It’s about saving money so you have more resources to help others.

Besides all the great money-saving tips, her final chapter focuses on tips to make a difference in the world.

If you are looking for ways to stretch a dollar, A Tip a Day is a great resource.

Affiliate Programs Will Make Money

The newest thing to do is to have a website. You may not have an online store yet, but having a website establishes an online presence. Affiliate programs help that website to make money for you.

Affiliate programs are all across the Internet now. Here is a bit of background on them. Companies look for more traffic and sales for their business. In an attempt to do this companies advertise on other websites.

When someone visits the affiliate website and clicks on the ad, they are taken directly to the merchant website. Each merchant sets up their programs differently. Some pay per click on the ad. Others pay a percentage of the sale. It all depends on the company.

Many companies have an application for their affiliate programs. This weeds out any websites that may be inappropriate or do not do high volume traffic. In order to be seen, the ads have to reach websites that are reaching the people.

Each website that participates in a company’s affiliate program is registered. This way, the company can trace the visitors from a particular affiliate member. The process sounds easy for the affiliate member. All you have to do is apply and be accepted. The merchant company handles sales and compensation from the clicks.

Affiliate programs make money for your business with very little effort. It is a form of passive income. You have already done the work of marketing your website and its products if you are selling any. You have the traffic, and other businesses would like to share in that.

When looking for an affiliate program, evaluate the various features of the business. Don’t just look at the possibility of easy money. Is the product viable? Are they paying according to click or sale?

Hosting ads for products that no one is interested in buying will actually cost you money. These ads are taking up valuable space on your website that could be occupied by more popular ads. It won’t make you money if people are not interested in the products. Choose affiliates with care the same way that they will choose you.

Take a look around the Internet to find the most popular affiliate programs and examine what they offer. Not all affiliate programs are compatible with your business. The Google AdWords program is designed to tailor the ads to your business so that the program works for everyone.

It’s about time your website started to make you some money. Build passive income while you build your business with affiliate ads. Choose a company that compensates well for your help and your traffic. Eventually you can begin an affiliate program of your own to increase traffic and sales.
